TV Studio

Learn all aspects of TV Production in Carleton Washburne School's fully equipped TV Studio. Use studio cameras, audio equipment, videotape and DVD recorders, computers, and special effect mixers. Write scripts, create artwork, produce, direct, and act in a variety of TV shows. During the trimester, every student has an opportunity to take each of the production roles, from planning to writing, producing, crewing, acting, and editing.

Carleton Washburne Broadcasting

Use your TV Studio 1 Skills to create video broadcasts throughout Washburne School. From the school's TV studio, help produce student news and public service show. Create public service spots from your own research on a wide range of topics. Through teamwork, goal-setting, planning, listening, and cooperation, create programs that have an impact. Prerequisite: grade 7 and 8 TV Studio 1.
