There are TWO Adventures Programs, please refer to the information and policies for the appropriate program. See information pertaining to all Adventures campers here.
The Primary Program provides stimulating activities for children who are four years old by September 1, 2012 and entering Jr. Kindergarten through grade 1. These activities are carefully chosen by the professional staff to encourage growth in all areas of development. Activities are constructed in a child-centered environment and arranged around the needs of the group.
Certified teachers structure a fun-filled day centered on read alouds, art projects, outdoor activities, math readiness activities and social interactions. The students look forward to the elaborate July 4th parade, water play on the hot summer days, and meeting new friends. A certified teacher and one assistant teach each classroom. Each primary student is assigned to a classroom for the duration of the program.
The Primary Program will be housed at Hubbard Woods School, 1110 Chatfield Rd., Winnetka. The program is held Monday - Friday, beginning at 8:45 a.m. and ending at 11:45 a.m. Instructions about Hubbard Woods School use, parking, and teacher assignment will be available with Welcome materials sent in June.
Tuition for the Primary Program is $545.00 ($595.00 non-residents), which includes a non-refundable $75.00 deposit. Registration is NOT complete until the deposit is received. There will be no tuition refunds made after the summer session begins on Monday, June 18, 2012. Tuition must be paid in full by the first day of Adventures, June 18. All changes in a student's schedule will be made Thursday, June 21 and Friday, June 22, 2012 only. CHANGE OF CLASS forms will be available at the Washburne front desk.
