Thank you for your interest in becoming a Substitute Teacher in the Winnetka Public Schools. Our substitute teachers are expected to follow and administer the regulations and policies of the District. While we welcome inquiries and applications for substitute teaching, we do not guarantee regular employment as a substitute. We maintain an extensive list of approved substitutes and as needed, over the course of the school year, we add to this list.

When you complete an application, we hold your information in reserve and advance it to our active list as needs arise. At that time, we will contact you to complete additional document processing and employment requirements, which include a current physical and TB test and criminal background check. Please advise us of any specialized certifications that you hold.
