After School Sports

This coeducational after-school sports program is offered for fifth and sixth graders from mid-September through mid-May. The experience is geared for all skill levels with an emphasis on participation and fun. Children will participate in flag football, soccer, floor hockey, basketball, volleyball, softball/blamball, and other organized games. Fifth graders participate on Wednesdays and sixth graders on Tuesdays. The program runs in two different semesters with the first beginning in September and second ending in May.

Chorus

This extracurricular class focuses on fun music in two-part harmony. The ensemble meets before school. This group will sing at choral concerts and at other school events throughout the year.

Drama Club

This extracurricular club provides a variety of fun theatre activities, including playing theatre games and creating performing scenes. The club meets from January through March.

The Skokie Tribune

The Skokie Tribune is a student publication that aims to enlighten and entertain our school.  All grade 5 and 6 students are welcome to participate in this volunteer publication.  To address student interests, The Skokie Tribune includes news articles, advice columns, humor, puzzles, and other subjects of student concern.
