Strategic Planning is underway. Focus groups will begin on February 2, 2012. There will be two parent and two staff focus groups at each school, and four community groups which will be open to all interested community members. No RSVP is necessary and all are welcome to attend.
Participants will engage in a individual SWOT analysis, a structured format of identifying District 36 strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, and a group prioritization activity.
Input from the focus groups will be used to inform the next phase of data collection, the survey. This information will play a vital role in creating The Winnetka Public Schools Strategic Plan, which will guide the work of the District for the next three to five years.
The community groups will be held at Carleton Washburne School on:
| Monday, February 13, 2012 | 7:00-8:30 P.M |
| Wednesday, February 22, 2012 | 10-11:30 A.M. |
| Thursday, February 23, 2012 | 10-11:30 A.M. |
| Thursday, February 23, 2012 | 7:00-8:30 P.M |
