Kindergarten Registration

Children who will be five-years-old on or before September 1, 2018, are eligible to enroll.

The Registration process is completed in two steps:

  1. Complete an online pre-registration form
  2. Provide proof of residency, child(ren)'s original birth certificate and a parent photo ID. Click here to view the list of documents that will meet these requirements.

 Please visit the District Office at 1235 Oak Street to register.

 Children will not be considered enrolled until residency documentation is verified and all forms are submitted. If you have any questions, please contact the District Office at 847-446-9400.

Welcome 2018-2019 Incoming Kindergarten Families

The District is excited to welcome our new Kindergarteners in 2018-2019. This will be our second year offering an Extended Day Kindergarten, continuing our commitment to play-based early childhood programming.  We are also looking forward to welcoming students from the Crow Island attendance areas to Hubbard Woods and Greeley Schools.

The Transition to Kindergarten​

District 36 ​annually ​partner​s with The Alliance for Early Childhood for a conversation about the Kindergarten transition. Trisha Kocanda, Superintendent, and Daniel Ryan, Principal of Hubbard Woods School, and facilitated a discussion to inform ​2016-2017 ​parents about the District’s Kindergarten curriculum, what to expect in school, and ​supporting your ​child’s educational journey.
