The Core Team will present Future Ready D36, Educational Master Facility Plan models for review at a special School Board Meeting on March 12, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. at Carleton Washburne School. These models are intended to address the District’s enrollment imbalance, aging facilities, and to align with the District’s vision for teaching and learning. A survey on the models will be launched at the March 12 meeting as well.
Follow up sessions to the special Board Meeting will be held as follows:
- The Skokie School on Friday, March 16 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
- Greeley School on Thursday, March 22 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
At these sessions, community members will hear an amended version of the March 12 presentation, have the opportunity to participate in the survey, and ask questions.
Over the spring, there will be ongoing revisions to the proposed models based on community feedback. It is anticipated that the Board will approve a model in June 2018.
